Helsingborg, Sweden-based death metal band
Humanity's Last Breath pride themselves on writing extremely heavy material, although they aren't afraid to mix in some more technical elements.
The group formed in 2009, with guitarist Buster Odeholm at the helm -- who also writes, produces, mixes, and masters their music. He was joined by Filip Danielsson (vocals), Johan Aldgård (guitar), and
Marcus Rosell (drums). After the release of their debut full-length, 2011's Structures Collapse, they replaced Aldgård with Calle Thomer, who went on to appear on their eponymous second record. After two albums on Rogue Records, the band self-released the Detestor EP in 2016, moving into a more technical area of metal. Their third album, 2019's Abyssal, was also their first for their new label Unique Leader Records.
