This four-song EP combines on one disc three consecutive hit singles by
Eddie Fisher from 1953-1954, plus the B-side of one of those hits. "Many Times" went into the Top Five in the fall of 1953 and was followed by
Fisher's biggest career hit, "Oh! My Pa-Pa (O Mein Papa)," which spent much of the winter of 1954 at the top of the charts.
Fisher followed it with "A Girl, a Girl (Zoom-Ba Di Alli Nella)," his ninth single in a row to land in the Top Ten. That 45's flip side, "Anema E Core (With All My Heart and Soul)," also reached the Top 20. These recordings, on which
Fisher displays his affinity for Italian music, represent him at his popular peak, and his confidence is infectious.
