A continuation of 2011's Adya Classic, Adya Classic, Vol. 2 features more classical pieces set to modern Eurodance production -- courtesy of Belgian producer Adriaan van Landschoot, arranger Phil Sterman, and conductor Edwig Abrath, who rearrange a "best-of classical music" selection (with compositions by Franz Schubert, Giuseppe Verdi, Johann Strauss, Joseph Haydn, and others) in a manner that had classical music lovers up in arms, but nevertheless managed to propel the record to number four in the German charts, number eight in the Swiss charts, and number 37 in the Austrian charts. ~ Christian Genzel
