All Because of You,
Lisa Bevill's 1994 sophomore release, greatly surpasses her debut project My Chaperone. While My Chaperone featured a few standout songs,
All Because of You is strong in every respect. Musically, it is a combination of CCM and adult contemporary with a splash of R&B influence. Lyrically,
Bevill addresses the topics of discouragement, reconciliation, and trials. Songs include "Sunshine and Joy," "Don't Keep Heaven," and "Fall Into Your Arms." Subtle hints of jazz and R&B infiltrate "Sunshine and Joy," while "Don't Keep Heaven" has shades of funk. "Fall Into Your Arms" is adult contemporary bordering on easy listening. ~ Ashleigh Kittle
