A seven-song EP of newly recorded holiday tunes sung by a current stable of the Disney Channel’s young stars, All Wrapped Up, Vol. 2 (a similar volume was released in 2008) is a limited-edition seasonal release distributed through Target retail stores. With the exception of the Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez, most of these actors and singers have yet to make much of a dent on the national radar outside of the Disney demographic, but the holiday season is really more about the actual holiday songs themselves than it is about the artists singing them. That said, the Jonas Brothers’ “Summertime Anthem” seems an odd choice for an album in any season. No doubt the kids will love it, though, and there’s sure to be another installment next holiday season. ~ Steve Leggett
