Taliesin, brainchild of
Trammell Starks, return once again with another album of expansive covers, this time providing heavily orchestrated versions of anthemic songs such as "Another Brick In the Wall," "Layla" and
Peter Gabriel's "Secret World." While this is an interesting conceit, it does wear thin all too quickly -- more quickly than prior
Taliesin albums, in fact, because the material here tends to lean heavily toward elevator music once the orchestral treatment kicks in. The initial release includes a second CD with excerpts from other
Taliesin albums.
