With the release of their first stellar sub-
Radiohead album,
Subcircus seemed to have tapped into the void left by bands like
Suede. However, with the release of their first single in several years -- "Sixty Second Love Affair" was released on Valentine's Day, 2000 – it seems that nothing much has changed in the band's preening, sexually-ambiguous formula. Also included on the U.S. version is a previously-released single "Do You Feel Loved?" Ultimately, this album didn't quite make the same impact as the first one, and considering they haven't really moved on, one album of misery-filled Brit-pop tunes may be enough. ~ Bryan Thomas
