This is the CD reissue of the LP recorded in 1978, the last with
Rita Lee's band Tutti Frutti. It revealed the direction she would take in her subsequent releases: less rock & roll and more dance orientated. The album is extremely different from Fruto Proibido, released three years before. It played well, which confirmed her commercial approach. Several tracks became hits: "Miss Brasil 2000," "Disco Voador," "Agora é Moda," "Jardins da Babilônia," "O Futuro Me Absolve," and "Eu E Meu Gato" (theme of a broadly popular soap opera). ~ Alvaro Neder
