Smokey Robinson's two most popular albums from the early '80s, Cruisin' and
Being with You, are combined on this fine single disc. Although both of the records suffer from some filler, they are suave, romantic affairs with elegant singing and classy arrangements, and the best moments (including the title tracks on both albums) are textbook examples of how urban soul should be made. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
