Best of Labour of Love is exactly what it says it is: a hits collection that focuses solely on UB40’s Labour of Love albums. In fact, it might be better seen as a refresher course on the three records, and a teaser to the fourth installment, scheduled to arrive early in 2010. The impending release of Labour of Love IV makes this less enticing to longtime fans only curious about the new cuts here, but for fellow travelers, this is a nice sampler of some of UB40’s most popular albums. [The Best of Labour of Love was also released in a Deluxe Edition containing a DVD with 26 music videos from the albums.]
