And She Purrs in Contentment

And Basks in Its Warm Light

She’ll Soak up All the Heat

And Enjoys the Feel of Its Rays on Her Fur

And No Matter What Life Throws Our Way

Dreamily While They Bat at Its Light

And the Cat’s Eyes Gleam

Chasing Each Other Around

A Single Ray of Sunlight

And When Morning Comes It’s Hope That Brings a Smile to Your Face

A Bringer of Warmth and Life

As She Sleeps in the Heat of the Day

And the Other Is Declared the Winner
