A second reissue in four years of
Peggy Lee's 1962 greatest-hits volume, Capitol's release of
Bewitching-Lee! boasts remastered sound and three bonus tracks, including an especially breathy version of "Unforgettable" and "I'm a Woman." The emphasis is squarely on her hits of the mid-'40s and early '50s, with several of her war-era hits with the
Goodman band ("It's a Good Day," "Why Don't You Do Right," "I Don't Know Enough About You") as well as the solo classics "Fever" and "Mañana (Is Soon Enough for Me)." ~ John Bush
