On their second album, released in 1996, one year after their debut, they carry on very much in the same style. It's still noisy guitar pop, they still sing about being outsiders, and being unhappily in love, but they touch other topics as well. The single "Work" is, in fact, an anti-work anthem, and the ballad "Steel" is about incapability to express feelings. Although it contains some undeniably great songs such as "Underground," "Work," and "The Young and the Old," it is a bit too similar to
Saturday Night Engine, not really living up to the great promise of the debut. ~ Anders Kaasen
