Broken Dog, comprised of Martine and Clive, expand the dreamy folk-pop of
Mazzy Star, bringing in layers of experimental guitar noise and floating studio effects. Occasionally, the marriage doesn't quite work, but at its best, Broken Dog is a haunting and intriguing listen. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
