Very nice collection of old and new lullabies performed by the capable Celtic quintet
Eden's Bridge. There's only one problem: It puts the adult listeners to sleep much faster than the active toddlers it was meant for. Nevertheless, it's a soothing listen, just as it was designed to be. The group takes on the classic lullaby by Brahms, the ageless "Coventry Carol," "The Infant King," and "Stealing Our Senses Away" for the old songs. They then present seven other songs written in contemporary times. All the arrangements display that magical Old World feel expected of Celtic music. Additionally, for those who collect album art, this is a good buy with its mixture of classic Pooh-type and Celtic art. ~ Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams
