Christmas with Tammy is a collection of
Tammy Wynette's best renditions of seasonal music. Tracks like "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" and "Blue Christmas" may have fairly generic music on them, but
Wynette's passionate voice keeps the whole affair from getting boring. She delivers several excellent versions of Christmas classics, with only the rest of the music keeping it from being as good as it could be. Still, fans of
Wynette, as well as fans of country in general, have a good chance of really liking this album; she has the perfect voice for the material found here. ~ Bradley Torreano
