Nausea was made up of members from notable grindcore acts such as
Exhumed,
Terrorizer, and
Phobia, and followed suit with
Condemned to the System. The album's brutal grindcore and spasmodic hardcore beats see dual vocals growling and screaming messages of horrific frustration and world-weary, anti-religious politics. Similar at their core to early
Napalm Death, the songs on
Condemned to the System reach their blistering peak on relentlessly intense tracks like "Fuck the World." ~ Fred Thomas
