Ileana Garces' debut album,
Dare to Love, was released by One Voice Records in May 2001. The project, which was produced by fellow One Voice artist
Alvaro Lopez, combines the musical styles of Latin, dance, and techno-pop.
Dare to Love has been compared to
Janet Jackson's
Rhythm Nation and includes the songs "Disposable," "I Think of You," and "Resting in Your Arms." In addition, the project offers two Spanish-language tracks, "Valdria la Pena" and "Por Buscar."
