Diamantes is the first album in three years from this indie noise band from Pamplona, the first for a new label, and the fourth overall. Picking up where their critically acclaimed 2008 album La Gallina left off, Diamantes continues to polish the band's mixture of abrasiveness with electronica, letting a little light into its characteristic musical and lyrical darkness. Beside seven originals, Diamantes features Spanish covers of We Are Standard's "On the Floor" and John Cale's "The Endless Plain of Fortune," renamed as "Cisne de Cristal."
