Electric Crate Digger is the full-length continuation of a two-part EP series begun in 1995 and subtitled "
Hardfloor Presents DaDamPhreakNoizPhunk." Given that fact, it's much easier to see the album in light of
Hardfloor's developing interest in breakbeats than as the big-beat crossover record it certainly sounds like. Still,
Bondzio and
Zenker are much better producing full-on trance than these rather lame sample pastiches.
