the Last Minister's production style can be compared to other more commercial funk acts such as
Alex Gopher. Much like Gopher's You, My Baby & I album, Essential Funk Box starts off on a genuine level of funk. However, as the album progresses, the funk slowly turns into cheese disco. Not to be seriously taken, or analyzed, Essential Funk Box is classic-style Italian house. ~ Diana Potts
