Singer Garlin Hacklin turns in a fairly unspectacular disc with this set. This is paint-by-numbers rockabilly with wrong instrumentation, flubbed lyrics on the covers, and over the top playing that often doesn't fit the genre at all. Hacklin shows plenty of enthusiasm but his backing band needs to listen to some old Carl Perkins records until they can get it right.
