Full Bladder finds most of its appeal through rocking in a non-aggressive, rather poppy fashion -- even when the band covers a
Black Sabbath tune, there's a tinny indie-ness to their sound that keeps things from becoming a retreading of rock ground. There's also a campily performative element to the album, on songs like "Art Fag" (an old joke that should have seemed stupid by the time of
Full Bladder's release) -- all of which makes for decent, if thoroughly unbrilliant, listening.
