One year after her group Monrose disbanded, pop singer Mandy Capristo returns with her first solo album, Grace (the title refers to her middle name). Employing a small army of producers and songwriters, Capristo offers several different styles to showcase her vocal talent: there's an R&B dance track in the vein of Beyoncé (the first single, "The Way I Like It"), a rock number ("Closer"), a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover ("Otherside"), midtempo R&B reminiscent of Sarah Connor ("Overrated"), ballads ("Side Effects," "Sing"), and more. Grace charted at number eight in Germany.
