Hinterhofjargon is the debut album by rap duo Celo & Abdi, whose free download mixtape Mietwagentape from 2010 secured them a record deal with Azzlackz, a label led by German rapper Haftbefehl. Produced by M3, the 16-track album features guest appearances by Haftbefehl (on "Traffic Cartel"), Capo ("A2zlack", "Frauen"), Xatar & Veysel ("Besuchstag"), SSIO ("Durchsuchungsbefehl"), and Schwesta Ewa ("Frauen"). The album's lyrics, which mostly deal with crime and drugs, are performed in a wild mix of German and bits of French, English, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, and other European languages. Hinterhofjargon, which charted at number eight in Germany, is also available in a digital edition featuring two bonus tracks, "Unsere Stadt" and "Interkontinental." ~ Christian Genzel
