Hood Times adopts a West Coast gangsta style, with all the accompanying outrageous theatrics. Representing the ghettos of Los Angeles, this rapping duo and their small stable of contributing rappers do an admirable job laying down thuggish rhymes; unfortunately, the shoddy production detracts from whatever noteworthy moments occasionally surface. ~ Jason Birchmeier
