Italian pop chanteuse Marcella Bella had a successful career in the '70s, when her brand of soft rock was still popular in her native Italy. Although most of these tracks were popular in Italy, they definitely sound dated at this point. The production is rather bland, and the overall sound of her music changes so little that songs begin to blend together. She really does put in a strong performance, but it is hindered greatly by the presentation of this music. This material could use a new mixdown, or at least a stereo treatment. As it is, this a very dated snapshot of the Italian pop genre that flourished throughout the pre-disco '70s. ~ Bradley Torreano
