The group
Língua de Trapo came out in the 1980s in São Paulo as one of the most important musical humorists. Also good musicians, they are quite capable of performing sambas, reggae, forró, disco music, caipira (redneck) styles, blues, bolero, and tango, all included here. They were awarded in 1984 by the APCA as the best vocal group of that year. This debut album, recorded in 1982, features the hits "Concheta" and "Xingu Disco."
