This
SFDK album is actually billed as a DJ
Acción Sánchez and MC Zatu release, the two members of the hip-hop duo from Seville. Like
OutKast's
Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, each disc showcases the work of an individual member. Yet, unlike
OutKast's final album, these are not really two solo projects by
Sánchez and Zatu, since both are joined by an endless list of collaborators -- hence the album's title,
Lista de Invitados (Guest List). Some of the names include
Zeropositivo, Duo Kie,
El Chojin,
Gordo Master, Jefe de la M,
Barrabás,
Sho-Hai,
Alberto Gambino,
Mitsuruggy, Látex Diamond,
Trad Montana, and
Rapsusklei, among many others. The variety and disparity of these 34 tracks make for a rather uneven collection, as established stars appear side by side with relative unknowns. Both
Sánchez and Zatu appear on each other's disc, as do several of their guests. ~ Mariano Prunes
