Long Money mixtape results in a flowing and at times ethereal hybrid of light trap beats and R&B undercurrents. Auto-Tuned rap flows are bedded by jazzy piano samples on opening track "Digital," moving the often-dark trap instrumental into a more plaintive and almost friendly place. Throughout the 20-song project this type of smart, inventive production meets inspired rap performances. The meeting of melodic rap verses and sultry R&B hooks of "OOOWWWEEE" defines the overall vibe, one that never completely commits to pop or rap, but hovers between styles as it offers the best of both worlds.
