Love Is Hell is the second studio album from Orange County rapper
Phora, arriving a year after his 2017 major-label debut,
Yours Truly Forever, as well as several independent mixtapes. While his previous releases explored often-sensitive topics such as suicide, depression, and abuse,
Love Is Hell focuses on the dark side of relationships. The album is loaded with guest appearances from rappers and singers including
Trippie Redd (who features on the album's title track),
G-Eazy,
6LACK, and
Vicktor Taiwò. Following its release in October of 2018,
Love Is Hell reached number 87 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
