Misturada, Vol. 4 features nine tracks originally released by the British Far Out Recordings label and remixed here by a variety of producers. Some of the featured remixers include 4 Hero and Kirk De Giorgio, two of the U.K.'s most esteemed producers of jazz-inflected drum'n'bass. Though no one else on this compilation is nearly as well known as 4 Hero and De Giorgio, the other producers practice similar styles -- jazzy breakbeats and live instrumentation strewn together in somewhat laid-back yet busy arrangements. ~ Jason Birchmeier
