Mohori, the
Sam-Ang Sam Ensemble shifts their focus to the Cambodian songs of the Mohori-Khmer, music commonly performed at banquets as well as accompaniment for plays and folk dances; the instrumentation -- including xylophones, hammered dulcimer, folk fiddles, zither, flute, drums and finger cymbals -- is colorfully exotic, and the performances are all exacting and beautiful. ~ Jason Ankeny
