2002's
Only Selfless Love collects spiritual, religious-oriented songs by various Philippine artists. The songs are taken from previously released albums. There is also one new song, "Let Our World Turn Back," performed by Jaime Rivera, who also co-produced the album. The songs are uplifting and seem imbued with a genuine reverence. The style of music is middle-of-the-road balladry, although "Emmanuel" contains some rapping by
Carlos Agassi. Most songs are taken from the local release World Youth Day...Emmanuel, and this includes the aforementioned "Emmanuel," which features an all-star ensemble that includes popular recording artists
Jolina Magdangal,
Roselle Nava, and others. "Ang Aking Dasal" (My Prayer) features the outstanding, vibrant voice of Robert Sena, who has appeared in various productions around the world of the hit musical Miss Saigon. One of the album's nicer songs is "The Mission," featuring a fine melody sung in a reverential manner by Jaime Rivera.
