In 2008, after 12 years as one of Spain's most popular bands, Jarabe de Palo left Warner Music Group, the label they had been affiliated with since their first album, to form their own independent record label. For their first album on their own, the bandmembers looked forward and back at once; after changing their official name to Jarabedepalo, their first album for their own Tronco Records label was Orquesta Reciclando (Recycling Orchestra), in which they offered new recordings for 15 of their best-known songs, along with one new track, "Mucho Más, Mucho Mejor."
