The libertine reggaetonero returns on
Papi Juancho,
Maluma's third long-player in as many years and fifth album overall. While 2019's
11:11 was a relatively chaste crossover bid that worked to establish his pop bona fides, this outing resurrects the Lothario from 2015's
Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy. Recorded in quarantine and produced by
the Rudeboyz, the 22-track set includes numerous collaborations, among them "Bella K" featuring Randy and
Zion and "Perdon" featuring
Yandel.
Lenny Tavarez and
Justin Quiles assist on "Parce," and
Myke Towers appears on "Madrid." It also includes the hit "Hawaii," and two takes of "ADMV," in unplugged and urbano versions. ~ Thom Jurek
