Peter Seiler is a veteran Berlin school electronic musician, and
Passage is one of his gentler efforts, chronicling a fictional manned space flight to Mars. The disc features Michael Lorenz on rock guitar and
Seiler's sci-fi electronica. The rock & roll overshadows the ambient; a gentle saxophone adds jazz textures. The music is good but the narration is awful: The narrator is over the top with superficial drama and fake concern. It is like a bad sci-fi flick from the '50s. There are few -- if any -- valid comparisons. None are needed. ~ Jim Brenholts
