This German trio does
U2-derived yet American-sounding, post-grunge, alterna-pop as well as any band. Typified by the proverbial angst-ridden vocals, catchy pop melodies, funky bass grooves, and aggressive lead guitar, Myballoon doesn't exactly present an original sound but they do incorporate the finest and most distinct qualities of the modern rock-styled bands. Lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Lüneburger wrote all of the lyrics (in English) with the trio collaborating on the music. Joining Lüneburger is bassist Chris Clemens and drummer Ben Sommerfeld.
