Producer
Michael Stokes, who produced Enchantment, probably wanted to work with
Eddie Kendricks. When that didn't happen, he settled for Keith Barrow, who had a similar falsetto; in fact, "Turn Me Up" sounds more than a little like "Boogie Down." The ballads, including "If It's Love That You're Looking For" and "You Know You Wanna Be Love," are real pleasers. Disco forays like "Joyful Music" had the wheels but never made much impact, while "Physical Attraction" and "Garden of Love" are pleasant, midtempo soothers. ~ Andrew Hamilton
