Once again, with POR ESO TE AMO, the four Arreola brothers managed in their modest, unassuming way to produce a compendium of smash-hit romantic ballads and sunny tunes. The ardent pleas of vocalists Juan and Jaime make sweet harmony in the opener, "Quiero Ser," whereas "Te Prometo" offers up harder fare. Here the bajo sexto grabs the spotlight, overpowering the usual suspects (the snare and the accordion).
