Problemang Puso (Heart Problem). Each of the album's eight songs is a slow, easy listening love song. Unfortunately, a continual procession of slow love songs doesn't make for much diversity, and the album suffers as a result.
Jude Michael has a strong, powerful voice, full of depth and charm. "Ang Iyong Pag-ibig" (Your Love) begins on slow, sparkling keyboards as
Michael enters and sings the passionate, if somewhat bland, melody with depth. This is the formula for most songs on the album, although some songs are better than others. One of the album's better songs, for example, is the tender, "Mula Sa Puso" (From the Heart), a remake of a television show theme song. Also nice is "Problemang Puso," a power ballad that
Michael sings with passion. The album's best song is the magnetic "Someone Else in Mind," which contains a succinct melody that
Michael builds to a grand conclusion. Unfortunately, it comes at the end of album after a procession of slow songs before it and loses some charisma. "Sana'y Makamtan" (Hope to Get), "Leave Me Now," "Sana'y Pangarap Mo Rin" (Hope It's Your Dream Too), and "Do You Love Me?" are bland, inconsequential love songs, although
Jude Michael does his best to breathe life into them. The searing electric guitar of Stuart Wylen adds some fire, but the album still needs more diversity. Still,
