Rich often refers to as "glurp," or something like digital/organic synthesis. Oddly, "glurpy" is exactly what much of the album is best described as. And a bit too glurpy in points, with unlikely art pour l'art electro-acoustical pairings often taking precedent over
Rich's more evocative side.
