It's a pretty amazing feat
GBH continued to put out records after who knows how many lineup changes and bad metal albums. This time around, they retract the sound of early, aggressive Brit-punk -- something of which they were renowned for when they first started. The flip of "Billy Club" not only features ex-members of
the Exploited, but also manages to reflect on the Southern California punk of
DI,
JFA, and probably any other '80s band that had an acronym for a name. A nice package of two different generations of punk on each side. ~ Mike DaRonco
