Put the Creep On might be more likely to irritate listeners than some of
Mount Shasta's other releases, but that's probably a good thing, given their genre. The record's gritty production doesn't have the polish of releases like Who's the Hottie, and inserts a few more blues-isms into the band's typically angular riff-and-scream. All of this makes for a collection of songs that's just a bit trashier and raunchier than the band's other work. ~ Nitsuh Abebe
