Producer Billy Miller makes sure this terrible twosome fills the speakers with a tough, full sound, but helping Dexter Romweber and Crow sound consistently inspired on this batch of 16 tunes seems to have escaped him. At its most rocking ("Ain't Goin' Away" and "Blackbeard"), the band still plays just to the brink of collapse, holding it all together with only their heart and soul. But churning out aimless instrumentals and sentimental ballads probably wasn't the best idea for a two-man rockabilly band with one of the best names in popular music but not a clue what to do next. ~ Brian Beatty
