Relaxing Rain is a collection of authentic field recordings representing a variety of different types of rainfall. Designed as a relaxation tool, the album is about an hour in length and divided into five subtle but distinct tracks. The first and longest track is an 18-minute recording of gentle rainfall on a forest's leaf canopy titled "Forest Shower." The other tracks range in depth and sonic character and include rain falling on a lake surface, two different takes on a slightly harder downpour, and very light rainfall with sound of distant thunder in the background. All are well recorded, consistent samples of the natural world and avoid interference from man-made sounds. ~ Timothy Monger
