Ten Foot Pole sound more like punk rock contenders on their second album, which is far better recorded than the amateurish debut. Now part of the Epitaph family,
Ten Foot Pole seem happy to uphold that label's well-worn aesthetics, rather than try to forge a new sound. Once again, the band makes no attempts to cash in on the pop-punk mainstream climate of the time -- not that a few memorable hooks would have hurt the album's integrity too much. ~ Andy Hinds
