On
Bennie K's third album,
Synchronicity, the female Japanese duo wear their R&B and hip-hop influences on their sleeves, but first and foremost, as the single "Sunrise" makes clear, they are a mainstream J-pop act in a style that hasn't changed much since the 1990s.
Synchronicity features collaborations with
MC Diggy of
Soul'd Out, as well as Japanese hip-hop and R&B musicians
Tsuyoshi and Gipper. Additional material on this release (available digitally) comprises a live performance of "Sunrise."
