Walser again yodels with unabashed acrobatic delight and soars with nimble, full-throated joy through country classics and old-sounding new tunes. He sings with a robustly happy spirit, as his sky-high trills convey, and this time he occasionally leads a brassy big band with the same homespun clarity that he lends to steel-driven, peanut-shell dancehall tunes.
