This album isn't quite as muscular as their last one. While their previous record had a strong mix of
Misfits/
Ramones monster/spy punk rock, this one is poppy through and through -- similar to
the Queers, but not as angry. Also, without the sneer, so the singing is an improvement from the standard
Joe Queer/
Ben Weasel fare. These guys will be delighting 16 year olds at all-ages shows for years to come, but most of the songs offered here all sound the same after a while. The pronounced monster/spy sounds have been reduced, leading to a blander product.
